Raising Well-Socialized Cobberdogs
At Down Under Cobberdogs, we go above and beyond to ensure our puppies are well-prepared for the world. Socialization is a vital part of our program, helping each puppy grow into a confident, adaptable companion.
Our puppies are gradually introduced to various sounds, including fireworks, trains, thunder, and even airplanes when needed — perfect for families living near airports. We also take them on outings to markets and gatherings where they can meet new people, dogs, and experience different environments. This early exposure ensures that our Cobberdogs are ready to thrive in any home and adapt easily to the sights and sounds of daily life.

A Lifetime of Support and Connection
Our commitment to our Cobberdog families doesn’t end when the puppies go to their new homes. We provide ongoing support and guidance, sharing tips and tricks to help families navigate puppyhood and beyond.
We also host special events like Puppy Days, or as some like to call them, Come Back Days. These gatherings bring the dogs and families back together for a day of fun. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a barbecue, watch the dogs reunite and play, and share experiences with fellow Cobberdog owners.

From Puppy to Hero: Jacky’s Service Dog Journey
At Down Under Cobberdogs, we are proud to see our puppies grow into not only loving companions but also life-changing service dogs. Jacky, one of our Cobberdogs, has been tested by Bultersmekke Assistance Dogs and has successfully qualified to begin his training as a service dog.
Bultersmekke, a renowned organization in the Netherlands, specializes in training assistance dogs tailored to the specific needs of their future owners. Over the next two years, Jacky will undergo intensive training to prepare her to support and accompany the future owner.
